Rab Gloves-Endurance Down Mitt – Fiery Red

The Endurance Down Mitt is a lightweight alternative to Rab’s Expedition Mitt.

Weighing 252g, they are filled with 650FP duck down, providing welcome warmth for your hands on high altitude or polar expeditions. Synthetic Stratus™ insulation on the sidewall, palm and inside thumb is resilient and fast drying, coping well with moisture in damp conditions. They are covered with a 100% recycled, water-resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro, easily resisting light rain, snow, and wind, to keep your fingers dry and toasty.

The mitts are reinforced across the front of the hand and fingers for added durability, with a textured palm for a better grip on walking poles or an axe. Detachable wrist loops ensure that you don’t lose them when performing intricate tasks in liner gloves, and the wide opening cuff makes them easy to pull on or off. The cuffs can be cinched in with a single hand drawcord to seal out the worst of the weather, and the inner cuff is elasticated to keep the heat in. The Endurance Down Mitt is ideal for light use in extreme conditions or for emergency use when out alpine climbing or winter walking in seriously cold temperatures.
